Good Things to Eat

We suppose that there are many variations on the phrase "the grass is greener on the other side of the fence". In this case, the food in the other cat's bowl is always better.

Monday morning found us out of food in the big dry food container. It was Stat's job to let the humans know that we needed more, and was rather nice about it. Later that morning, the job was done, and the container was filled! But of course, we couldn't all eat from it at once! Luckily, our mommy was nice enough to fill a couple of small bowls for the rest of us to eat out of. But suddenly those became the bowls with the BEST food in them. Ashley ate from one bowl, Alexa began to eat from another. Stat bumped Alexa from her bowl, at which point our mommy showed Alexa where the big feeder was. Of course, Ashley then decided that the big feeder had the best food, and Stat sampled food out of the bowl that Ashley had vacated.

Of course, wet food is the best. And it is always best to eat one's own bowl and then go back for seconds out of someone else's bowl. Definitely better to get a piece of what someone else had.
