Status of Stat's Nose

Well, Mike reports that Stat's nose is all healed up. Took a little while yes, but neither of the humans were looking too closely for a while either.

So what happened? During the big move between Bozeman and Sparks, Stat had the benefit of certain tranquilizer medications. Apparently, that wasn't really a benefit when Stat freaked out in his cage and ripped a chunk of skin off of his own nose (as well as all of the fairly newly placed claw caps). His usually black nose was a bit scabby for a while, then it turned kind of white-ish and now it's back to the cute black it was before.

Lesson learned? Um, I think given similar cirucumstances with cage + tranquilizer, Stat would do it again. Just like he keeps on eating the roses, and keeps on horfing them up.
